  • star rating  Yesterday I went on the ‘Hop-on’ -Hop-Off Bus tour which was fine until the bus stopped and we were asked to transfer to another bus. The second bus had no... read more sun shelter for the front tow of the top deck but worse was the fact that it hadn’t been cleaned from the previous occupants with plastic ear-plug packages all over the floor.
When the bus departed, these were swirling all around us until eventually being sucked overboard the litter Budapest’s streets. I am surprised that the authorise don’t take action by enforcing a cleaning/hygiene regime (especially in a pandemic).
Also, the evening boat trip was massively overcrowded and cast off without even so much as a cursory safety briefing. I am assuming that it did not have life jackets but at least it could have told us that as not everyone can swim.

Nice snapshot of old country life in Hungary. Our 3 teenaged children loved it. Food was good and served outside on a beautiful shaded patio with a view. Gave us a ride in a wagon, showed us the stables and a petting zoo and ended with a horse show. We were happy we did this.
